After giving up a run in the second inning, Guthrie retired 15 straight and helped Baltimore overftake the Nationals in extra innings. Ten strikeouts in a single game is an astounding accomplishment for even a veteran pitcher, and Guthrie showed masterful form in dominating the Nationals' bats. He is now 1-0 with a 0.84 ERA in three starts. More to come...
